Shipping Policy

Delivery Areas

We deliver to all major towns across Kenya including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, Eldoret, Thika, Malindi, Nyeri, Meru, Nanyuki, and surrounding areas. For remote locations, please contact us to confirm delivery availability.

Delivery Charges

  • Nakuru (within town): Free delivery on orders above KSh 20,000. Otherwise from KSh 300.
  • Nairobi & nearby towns: From KSh 500 depending on order size and location.
  • Other major towns: From KSh 800 depending on distance and order weight.
  • Delivery charges are confirmed at order time based on your location and order contents.

Delivery Times

  • Nakuru: Same-day or next-day delivery for in-stock items.
  • Nairobi: 1-2 business days.
  • Other towns: 2-5 business days depending on courier availability.
  • Delivery times are estimates. We will keep you updated on your order status via phone or WhatsApp.

Order Tracking

Once your order is dispatched, we will share tracking details via WhatsApp or SMS. You can also check your order status in your My Orders page.

Returns Policy

Eligibility

You may return a product within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The product is defective or damaged on arrival.
  • You received the wrong item (different from what you ordered).
  • The product does not match the description on our website.

Return Conditions

  • Products must be in their original packaging with all accessories and manuals.
  • Products must not show signs of installation, physical damage, or misuse.
  • Returns not meeting these conditions may be rejected or subject to a restocking fee.

How to Return

  1. Contact us within 7 days via phone, WhatsApp, or email with your order number and reason for return.
  2. We will assess your request and provide return instructions.
  3. Once the returned item is received and inspected, we will process your refund or replacement.

Warranty

All products sold by THAITEC (K) SUPPLIERS LTD come with the manufacturer's standard warranty. Warranty periods vary by product category and brand. Common warranty coverage includes:

  • Solar panels: 10-25 year performance warranty (varies by brand).
  • Batteries (LiFePO4): 3-5 year warranty.
  • Batteries (Lead-Acid/AGM): 1-2 year warranty.
  • Inverters: 1-3 year warranty depending on brand and model.
  • Charge controllers: 1-2 year warranty.

Warranty covers manufacturing defects only. Damage from improper installation, misuse, modification, or natural disasters is not covered. Always consult installation manuals or hire a qualified technician.

Refunds

  • Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days.
  • Refunds are issued via M-Pesa or bank transfer to the original payer.
  • Cash-on-delivery refunds are processed via M-Pesa.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
